Partner
Ron Some leads senior executive recruitment efforts for health care providers, nonprofit organizations, and professional associations nationwide for both interim management and long-term leaders. Ron recently and previously led the healthcare/nonprofit executive search/interim management practice at a large, national consulting firm.
Within healthcare, he has worked with a variety of provider types including integrated delivery networks, community and district hospitals, and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Ron’s work with these organizations has spanned most functional areas. Many of the executives he has placed have provided strong turnaround, growth, and transformational leadership for their organizations.
Ron’s work in executive search is complemented by his service as Board Vice-Chair and former Board Treasurer of Asian Health Services (AHS), an FQHC in Oakland, California serving 50,000 patients, annually, known for advocacy and innovation in the delivery of high-quality care to the medically underserved. During the current pandemic, AHS played a critical role in successfully delivering information, testing and vaccines to populations often experiencing access challenges because they are English language learners.
Prior to his career in executive search, Ron was a fundraiser for the School of Public Health with his undergraduate alma mater, the University of California at Berkeley.
RON SOME
Director
Deborah has over 20 years of leadership experience as a business professional in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare sectors. During this time, her work was focused on the learning and development as a life sciences and diversity consultant, training designer and facilitator.

At Grifols Diagnostic Solutions, Inc. and the American Red Cross Blood Services, Deborah managed large scale projects for both internal training and product training for hospital customers.
​
Deborah earned her undergraduate degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley and is a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE).
DEBORAH ZENOR-DAVIS
MARIA MATASSA
Director
Maria has over 15 years of executive search experience, including work in healthcare with provider organizations, private equity-backed startups and medical device companies. Her breadth of experience has occurred in various different contexts, including national executive search firms, directing the staffing function within human resources departments and as an independent search consultant.

A native of New York City, Maria earned her undergraduate degree in English Literature at St. John’s University and an MS in Management from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). She has served as an Adjunct Professor at the NYIT School of Management.

Her community commitments include the Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of America.
